comparative & superlative adjectives  (සංසන්දනාත්මක හා අතිශයාර්ථ නාම විශේෂණ පද සහිත වාක්‍ය )   1.Sunil is a rich man ; Kamal is richer than sunil ; but Nimal is the richest person in the city. සුනිල් පොහොසත් මිනිසෙක් . කමල් සුනිල්ට වඩා පොහොසත් . නමුත් නගරයේ පොහොසත්ම පුද්ගලයා වන්නේ නිමල් . 2.The toffee is sweet ; candy is sweeter than toffee ; but honey is the sweetest.   මේ ටොෆිය පැණි රසයි . සූකිරි ටොෆිවලට වඩා පැණි රසයි . නමුත් ඉතාම පැණි රස දේ වන්නේ පැණි ය . 3.Now I’m a happy man; but in the past I was happier than today ; in future I need to be the happiest man in the world. මම දැන් සතුටින් ඉන්න මිනිසෙක් . නමුත් අතීතයේදී මම දැනට වඩා සතුටින් හිටියෙමි . මට අවශ් ‍ ය   මේ ලෝකයේ සතුටින්ම ඉන්න මිනිසා වන්න . 4.Last year I got good results ; this year I’m better than last year ; but I need to get the best result next year.   පසුගිය අවුරුද්දේ මට හොද ප් ‍ රතිඵල තිබුණි ....
